| This gallery refers to film of the still kind, not the motion picture kind. Photography is one of my favorite mediums to explore, probably because it's one of the genres I love which I have the least training or experience in. This lends itself to much experimentation and fun with my trusty Canon EOS Rebel 2000 and accompanying macro lenses. I have always had a fascination with textures and patterns and extreme close-up imagery, hence the macro lens and the resulting images you see here. It should be noted that I am in no way a photography purist, and do not have the funds to invest in my own color darkroom, so I do not develop or print my own photos. Instead I use Photoshop as I would a darkroom: to clean up, crop, burn/dodge, and color-correct my images. All of the photos in this gallery have been through some part of that Photoshop process. |
