This tattoo is about my client Alexandra's story of growing up in the Bronx, NYC. She used to enjoy the old tree with ivy outside her house as a child, which is now gone. Then some years later her grandparents' house burned down, with the only surviving possession being her grandfather's rusty old harmonica, which my drawing was based on.
