They seem to really want to stand behind there product i believe they did all the testing that they claim. The guy was really suprised to hear that i didnt really like the liners. They were nice liners but i think i have really developed the way I line based on mithra liners, which i have used since i have started. The envy fives made clean crisp lines but were just to thin for my taste. The mags seem promising they just sent me more samples of curved mags. The curved ones are slightly less curved not that huge arch mithra has which i believe is tad to extreme.

i have used the smaller mags 5's and 7's,they were pretty nice..i like them better than most of the other needle companys ive tried..i havent used them(envy) much tho,so im not sure of there consistancy from box to box..seems like they take pride in what they are doing so id expect they would be consistant..time will tell tho

I agree that they seem to really want to put out a good product but I also found them to be pretty close to Mithra. After years of trying to find a great pre-made, ive gone back to making my own needles. The difference has been worth the extra hour or two a week I spend making them.

Does anyone use the 7 traditional liners ? they seem to be what im looking for, not too tight and not straight and loose either.

Any feedback ? are they pretty consistantly semi tight ? do you get needles in the batch that you can seperate and catagorize as tighter then others ? ( i do this first thing when i buy premades ) im picky about liners, i do alot of single pass lines. Any imput is appreciated !

I use the traditional 8 liners now religiously. Awesome. The inkflow is great
I wish they would make traditional 5 liners though I think the regular 5s are too tight
However, I called them about 3 months ago looking for bugpins and they said that a whole new line is gong to be introduced soon so we shall see. All in all they are very well made. If you look at them through a lupe, they are all identical. Even in the soldering.

Best needles I've ever used hands down. Worth the wait even when they are out of stock. One of the reps told me that they will have the stock situation fixed in the next three months to keep up with demand. there is a reason they sell out constantly b/c they're just great great needles. i hear they are also coming out with bugpins and textured needles in the next few months. also check out tatsoul's new disposable tubes. they're awesome. got some at the ink and iron. these guys know what they're doing and im stoked to try new and better things.

I really like their needles. A bit on the spendy side, (get a "black card") but worth it. I reall LOVE their traditional liners. The 8 and 9's. They are all I use now.

Thanks for the feedback and sample offer (im running very low so i dont have time to sample) . Im going to place a order tomarrow =)

The reason why i was curious about the tightness consistency is because i end up throwing away 1 out every 4 or 5 needles usually because they are too tight. They get a little bulge when they are too tight and dont fit my tips which i like to customize to fit like a mechanical pencil..thin wall, snug fit ( no flow problems ) makes single-pass/rideing the tube very reliable and easy when i use that method

masterstefano... are those the new Wrath disposables? I gotta give them a try. I still cant find a disposable that im comfortable with. I still prefer scrubbing my steel grips.
I heard great things about those and they look nice and bulky.

yea the tatsoul wrath tubes are siccccckkk. the ones with the special grip i think called vortex do not spin as like those crappy black rubber ones and the tips are very low profile so it's accurate like stainless steels and they have a nice slight transparency so you can see the ink. it's not heavy like the stainless steel but everything else about it is amazing. i swore off autoclaving and scrubbing stainless steel b/c of these badboys.

I have used the needles and still have a few boxes. I bought a box of tight 3's and 5's and too be honest the tight 3's suck. I usually use Mithra tight 3's and love them. The problem I am having with the tight 3's from tatsoul are they are all fucking different. some are tighter or looser than others, along with some of the solder running way too low. The tight 5's are not that bad, definitely better. The regular fives they have I actually enjoy. I also picked up some curved 15's and curved 9's. They are not too bad but to be honest, it is not enough to move me away from needlejig.com needles yet stick with Mithra's tight 3's and curved 17 bugpins. I am happy with those, just my opinion.

i found inconsistencies in the 7 RL.
some are tight, some are loose.
didn't expect that from them,
and the 7 curved aren't perfect even curves, but do work great.

seems like another company that came out swingin and fell apart a few rounds later. maybe that's an exaggeration.

does anyone have any experience with their customer service? ive come to accept that finding some sub par needles are sort of a "cost of doing business" kinda thing when it comes to premades... now it sort of seems like the real thing to look for are companies that own up to it in a timely manner.

Envy needles are the best needles I've ever used imo for me. Consistent and just very well made. If u compare the soldering quality with other manufacturers, these have the cleanest solder. The thng is that everyt artist has diff preference with needles. There isn't a clear black n white good or bad many times... Sorta like machines. U should check out the wrath tubes too. Awesome.

i can understand the preference part, but if more than one person is saying that a box of needles are all different in the tightness of the grouping that seems to be more of an observation than an opinion to me.

but, maybe theyre cool about it?
