the mithra stainless steel tip disposables are not good. the stainless steel tips that i received were not consistent. also a lot of people have complained about the steel tip spinning b/c it was not screwed on tight to the plastic grip. it seems like these are "hand" put together and have a lot more room for error...

i agree with what the poster said above. the tatsoul wrath tubes are definitely the best in the industry right now, hands down.

how thin is the tip? (the part between the needle tip and the skin)
thin like the steel tips? in the picture (on their site) they look really thin.
that was really my only problem with plastic grips.
the weight and feel you get used to eventually.

The tatsoul wrath tube tips are thin but still strong which is what is good about them. You don't want thick clunky tips. trust me, once you use them especially with the vortex grip, you wont go to another disposable. the vortex grip does not spin like the crappy black rubber ones out there that you see. it's comfortable and efficient.

i have a question about the tatsoul grips... and disposables in general. how tight are the tips? do they fit snug so there's no side to side play with mags? also how fast do mags groove into the plastic tips? before i use any stainless tips i always have to run a dry setup and groove the tips otherwise you can't really get a stabilized needle... does this happen faster with the disposable tips? thanks.

I know what you are talking about.. .most disposables have a thick tip so it has that distance for the needles to hit the skin. with the thinner profile from the wrath tubes, you won't have that problem... also if you use higher end stainless steel tips from blitz or dreggenberg (sp?), those are really nice too but they cost an arm and leg. as for the wrath tube tips holding the needle, they hold them very well and the ink flow is great too. good luck on your decision but you should buy a box to try them out regardless. it'll be worth it.

is it worth the extra $10 for the vortex grips, or are the standard wrath grips just as good?

Hey, I would get the vortex grip. Yea, it cost more but when you are charging 50 to 100 to much more per session, it's worth it. it's only a few cents more per piece to get a more comfortable grip. ive been using the wrath tubes for over a month now and this is all i will ever use.

The vortex grips are worth every extra penny. Which is only about .35 extra each. I'm using 3rd, 7rd, 9rd, 7m in vortex. I also have the regular 15m wrath because they were out of stock. I noticed a big difference and I should have waited.
