Brother's Tattoo machine parts.

Posted by Eriksenn on 10/28/09

Hey guys n 'gals. Just stumbled across these guys. From what I can tell, they used to work for Workhorse irons, and now sell parts on their own. I bought a couple wheat penny thumbscrews, and they are very nice! They sell coils, washers, contact and thumbscrews and are supposed to be offering A-bars and other stuff soon...

I, personally have no pitch... I just thought I would share a decent place for thumbscrews. Wingnuts fuckin kill my fingers. If you are suggesting that I am somehow associated with the company, or have some agenda, then you are mistaken. Lighten up, or piss off!

Na I wasn't suggesting anything, Didn't mean to at least. guess I used the word "pitch" because I couldn't think of a better word right now. Im running on 3 hours of sleep and worked a few hours late on top of that, Im shot!

Sorry if I came across like a dick, just seemed weird to use a thumbscrew as a reference for quality.

No worries man! Burning both ends of the candle can bring out the best in all of us... I just have a few machines with the annoying wing-nut vice, and have had my fingertips go numb for hours at a time from torquing those s.o.b.'s! There are places to get more "ergonomically friendly" thumbscrews, and I thought I would share this one. I honestly cannot attest to the quality of all of their goods, but the wheat penny thumbscrews I picked up are pretty rad. One 1937 and the other 1944, which was the only year the penny was made from the empty shell casings of a war. I am pretty sure 1937-1944 was the duration of WWII. Ahhh, history.

Really? I always thought of this forum as a place to share thoughts, ideas and experiences with others... It seems some here think that an opinion on a certain product or another can only be a shameless plug, or ploy for free advertisement. I personally love Fritos, and will tell anyone that cares to know, but they do not pay me to say that... Seriously though, if you act now, we @ Brother's tattoo machine parts will add a free bag of delicious Frito Scoops with every order over $500.00! Act now, as supplies are limited!!

you are the first person ive heard to say thumbscrews wear out their thumbs and wheat pennys are the answer. its cute.

seems weird someone that used to work for workhorse, would then open a company to make the same things they make, minus the tattoo machines.

kinda like the guy from eternal, making fusion.

too many chiefs not enough indians.

just my two cents, what do I know.

cbe: I am glad you think my numb, battered fingertips are "cute"! Wheat penny, Nickel, kronor, key, even a fat washer... All things that make turing thumbscrews easier than a wingnut. Weld ém to a screw, and I will use it. Also, I do not know if these guys were employed by Workhorse, I just stated it seemed likely with their stock of supplies being similar to discontinues WHI parts... Anyways, I think I am done "sharing"on this forum, as It seems neccessary to defend opinions and ideas...

aww, precious. dont get all upset. every body was just ribbin' ya, stick around for a while. its a cool forum. my first couple of posts on here, people tore me a new one ten times over. its some weird kinda tattoo hazing or something. kinda like those weird guys that slapped asses in the locker room. its gross, but...as long as nothing slips in your butt, you'll be fine. and thanks for the link, it would be a great reference for rebuilders, assemblers, whatever... and builders that dont want to machine everything.

If cocoa doesn't equal comfort, I don't know what does.

Glad you are still here eriksenn. is it "Erik Senn" or "Eriksenn" I'm imagining, "Eriksenn" a nordic warrior in power ranger pjs.

thanks for playing along.

Yes, Eriksenn it is... Your mental image is, sadly not too far off! inksane... Seems the way the youngsters be destroying their fingers n'thumbs with these video game systems, they must know of a plan to install bionic appendages... Shit, I play my 10 year old Gamecube for a half-hour, and my hands remind me they are my meal-ticket...

Hey guys you can find that product in my site asseenontv.com! All kinds of penny screws, and also human thumb replacements done by the ex wife of the guy that used to shine shoes for the guys that used to help Danny Fowler blow the dust of his desk with his mouth, of course without the help of the duster.!

A lil update... After 2 months of torquing one of the wheat penny thumbscrews, it snapped at the point of weld. Of course right at the begininng of tattoo! I let Dan at Bros. know, and he sent me a Huge, thick belgian coin thumbscrew asap for no cost. It's rad! i also confirmed he used to be employed at workhorse, and carries a lot of good rebuild stuff. The coils are very good, and I love the silicon-brass contact screws... <<<< attention! : Order now, and we will send out a free Hello Kitty napsack with every order over 1000.00 us!>>>>lol
