Dot work

Posted by Gabriel on 12/11/09

Does anyone have any tip on how to tune your machine for doing dot work style like Xed le Head and Jondix. I belive both of them use rotary machines. Is it possible to acheve the same effect with a coil machine?

I usually do "stippling" or dot work, by hangin the needle out a little extra, work strictly off the needle, it seems to work. If stippling is new to you, practice with a good fine marker on paper. Keep your work area clean, you can see each dot as it forms in the skin, after a while of this I seem to have a feel for it, my control gets a little sharper each time
