Lotus and Chains

This tattoo features the lotus flower to symbolize personal growth and breaking free of constraints and limitations. I originally made this tattoo for Kyle sometime around 2013, in a much lighter and more colorful style, but in the years since then he completed a heavy black neo-tribal torso project, so this tattoo needed to be significantly darkened in order to be more cohesive with his new aesthetic.
